Title: Launching Wagmi DAO’s DeFi Products on Metis EVM Network

Proposal Overview

This proposal seeks to establish a strategic partnership between Wagmi DAO and Metis. The key objective is to deploy Wagmi DAO’s DeFi products on the Metis network, creating new utilities and fostering growth for both parties.

Terms of the Agreement

Grant Provision

• Metis will provide Wagmi DAO a grant of $2 million worth of $METIS tokens for deploying its DeFi products on the Metis network. The grant will be used to provide liquidity exclusively. Wagmi DAO will provide $2 million worth of $WAGMI tokens to pair it with $METIS and lock the liquidity forever in GMI.

• Metis commits to providing support in both technical and community aspects to ensure a smooth integration and successful launch on their platform.

Liquidity Provision

• Wagmi DAO agrees to allocate a full amount of the grant to provide liquidity into $METIS - $WAGMI liquidity pool.

Benefits

• For Wagmi DAO: Gaining access to the Metis ecosystem, coupled with financial and technical support, enhances growth opportunities without the need for Wagmi token dilution.

• For Metis: The addition of Wagmi DAO’s DeFi products enriches the Metis EVM platform, increasing its appeal and functionality for users.

Timeline

Grant Provision: The $2 million grant will be sent to Wagmi DAO in a timeframe agreed upon after the governance votes of both Wagmi DAO and Metis are complete.

Wagmi DAO DeFi Products Launch: Scheduled within a week following the grant provision, ensuring comprehensive integration and testing on Metis.

Liquidity Provision: Set to begin immediately after Wagmi DAO’s DeFi products go live on Metis.

Decision Making

This proposal will undergo a governance vote by Wagmi DAO’s token holders. A majority vote is required for the proposal’s approval.

TL;DR

Wagmi DAO and Metis are entering into a mutually beneficial strategic partnership. Metis is providing $2 million worth of $METIS tokens to Wagmi DAO, supporting the deployment of Wagmi’s DeFi products on the Metis platform. The provided funds will be used for liquidity provision exclusively.

This collaboration is designed to benefit both parties and to introduce new utilities and growth opportunities within the Metis ecosystem.

With key objective to deploy Wagmi DAO’s DeFi products on the Metis network, creating new utilities and fostering growth for both parties and Metis benefitting from the addition of Wagmi DAO’s DeFi products to enrich the Metis EVM platform, I see the Wagmi DAO adding tremendously to the growth of DeFi on Metis.

Starting 2024 with a $2 million fund to WAGMI makes me more bullish on the ecosystem. I’m sure many will want to explore WAGMI’s products once it goes live and this synergy will create more opportunities.
